We have been very forunate to gain inspiration and vast creativity from the following people. Each of their names is hyperlinked, and will take you to their website.

Scott Pittman

Scott is a talented permaculture teacher and practitioner. He is also the founder of the Permaculture Credit Union and Permaculture Institute. We took our first permaculture classes with Scott through the Permaculture Institute in the summer of 2008.

Toby Hemenway

Toby is the author of one of the most accessible and well-organized permaculture books written, it is called Gaia's Garden. Toby was one of the teachers who shared their expertise and knowledge with us in the summer of 2008.

Brad Lancaster

Brad is a gifted permaculturist from the Tuscon area. He is the author of the series Rainwater Havesting for Drylands, a truly brilliant piece of work. Brad was a teacher of ours in the summer of 2008, as a class we worked to install greywater harvesting on a farm in northern New Mexico.

Patrik Schuman

Patrik owns and operated Ecoasis in Albuquerque, NM. He is a phenomenal grafter, tree expert, builder, and all around great guy. Because Patrik is local, we are able to derive insight and guidance from him on a regular basis.

Brian Fey

Brian is both brilliant and accomplished. He lives just above the village of Erongaaricuaro in the state of Michoacan, Mexico. Brian owns and operates the Bosque Village, a research center and retreat. Brian is completely off the grid. He is conducting very important experiments on plantlife and its ability to survive climate change at his site.

Jenny Cook

Jenny is a master permaculturist. She has one of the most impressive sites I have seen. Her site is located just above the village of Erongaaricuaro in the state of Michoacan, Mexico. She has been working on her site for over 15 years, and it is quite extraordinary. This site is an excellent example of what is possible when one focuses their time and energy on becoming as eco-friendly as possible.
